UK Design Council visited IRENA |

April 15, 30 people from UK Design Council and UK University of the Arts London visited iRENA for communication.
At 6:00pm, the lights were lit. People crowded in the Box Lounge in Beijing Workers Stadium. Representatives from iRENA and China Industrial Design Association communicated with guests from UK in friendly atmosphere.
Mr. Gao Hong, Sportswindow CEO, attended the meeting and gave a keynote speech. He introduced iRENA concept and the entire situation of the industry, reported the project progress of KTS-Knowledge Transfer Sponsorship under the cooperation with University of the Arts London, and introduced the last phase achievement.
UK Design Council is a UK National Strategic Organization sponsored by UK government. They promoted design application to public service departments in UK. This visit to China was to excavate and cultivate more Chinese graduates with initiality, promoting the commercial mode with more creativity. They intended also to establish cooperation mode with China in commerce, management, technology and design, wishing Beijing-London Communication Center, which was launched in Beijing Workers Stadium, to have more activities in the future to share with design industry in China.
For years, iRENA is committed in practicing and exploring sports venue commercial operation. iRENA paid more attention to cooperation and communication with foreign organizations in culture creativity and art industry. On July 20, iRENA Sports Culture Creativity Park, cooperated with University of the Arts London, successfully held fashion design tutorial course with Inside Out as its theme. The course was directed by Mr. Colin Kerrigan, Head of the International Office of University of the Arts London, Former principal lecturer in Art and Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. This visit of UK Design Council and UK University of the Arts London, to a large extent, will promote cooperation between people of the two countries in education, culture and arts.
